Shipwrecked – VBS 2018
July 15 – 20
Rescued By Jesus
Can you imagine children having fun while they worship and learn about God? Come and experience it at this year’s Shipwrecked VBS which is open to children ages 3 – rising 6th grade and will be held Sunday, July 15 – Friday, July 20 from 5:20 pm – 8:20 pm.
At this year’s Vacation Bible School, we will help children explore these awesome biblical truths:
- When you’re lonely… Jesus rescues!
- When you worry… Jesus rescues!
- When you struggle… Jesus rescues!
- When you do wrong… Jesus rescues!
- When you’re powerless… Jesus rescues!
God has laid before us an awesome opportunity to share His love and grow His Kingdom. Will you join us at this year’s VBS by sharing your God-given gifts and abilities to help reach the hearts of children and families in our community? Volunteers are needed to serve as Crew Leaders, Station Rotation Leaders (Bible Story, Games, Imagination Station Crafts/Gizmos, Missions and/or Kid-Vid), and as members of the Decorating Team, Prayer Team, Registration & Hospitality Team, Security Team, Kitchen Team, Technology & Sound Team, Set-Up/Clean-Up Crew, and Media Team (photographer/videographer).
We are grateful for the times you have answered the call to Hope Valley’s Bible School ministry in the past, and we look forward to serving with you as we help young people (and adults) discover the wonder of what it means to be Rescued by Jesus at Shipwrecked VBS! Registration is open for Volunteers and Participants—so don’t delay—register today!
Shipwrecked VBS Training Sessions
Because we want to ensure you are as prepared as possible for our island excursion, we will offer three Wednesday Evening Training Sessions from 6:30-7:30 pm beginning on May 30 to help Crew Leaders and Station Leaders study the Bible points and stories in greater detail.
